GRILLED GARLIC ASPARAGUS is an alkaline rich way to prevent bladder infections and urinary tract infections, and strengthen the gut flora community.
INGREDIENTS:
Asparagus
Garlic
Vegetable broth
Smoked paprika
Lemon juice
KEY:
Premake vegetable broth by simmering an lb of turnip greens(cleaned and torn from stems), one thickly diced onion, 4 smashed garlic cloves, 1 coarsely chopped bell pepper and a bay leaf in a large pot, with gallon of water, for 2 hours, covered tightly. Strain, refrigerate, and use as you need. Many vegetables that can cook in broth, instead of oil, only require 1/4 cup of broth or less at a time, like asparagus. Cooking rice with
the broth creates a world of flavor with none of the sodium.
